I have always loved everything about babies. From the way their hair and skin smells right after a bath, to dressing them, packing a diaper bag, etc...it's so much fun! One night, when I was about 10 years old, I begged God while praying before bed, to please turn one of my MANY doll babies... JUST ONE, into a breathing, smiling, eating, peeing n' pooping baby. The next morning came, and of course, all of my dolls were still dolls. Looking back, I understand now. God knew a 10 year old was not ready to take care of a baby! :O)

Elizabeth Austin Baby is named for my mom and son. My mom Elizabeth was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in 2005, and is still battling today. She inspires me because although she is going through something so traumatic and difficult, she still finds time, and gives her time, to enable my creativity to blossom. I am the designer, fabric chooser, and cutter, and she is the sewing fingers of this company (I sew a little)! Everything is handmade here at Elizabeth Austin Baby!

My son Austin is an amazing little boy. He is such a joy, such a sweetheart! Our time together is special to me and each new day is an adventure. Parenthood, although challenging at times, is a wonderful experience that I'm loving more and more every day.

While creating my baby products, I strive to offer a new twist to those you may have seen in a boutique, or while shopping online. We also try to offer fresh, beautiful fabrics to create our baby goods so that we will not only add organization to your wardrobe, but also joy and style.
